Tabs you stop using go to Bin, a collapsed group in your own tab strip, unloaded so they cost nothing. Open one and stay on it, and it comes back out. Anything left in Bin closes after the time you choose.

Press ⌥⇧F, pick a tab, press ↵. Or just start typing to search all of Bin. Few puts the tab right where you are.

Search Bin from the address bar.

Type few and a space, then a word from the title or the site. Matches show as you type, and ↵ brings the tab back.

What matters stays put.

Closing tabs on its own only works if you can trust it. Everything spends time in Bin before it goes, groups you made are left alone, and anything Few does comes with Undo.

Tell Few how you work.

Describe it in a sentence and Few builds the rules from its own steps, for you to check before anything changes. Or keep the recommended cleanup and never think about it.

Your tabs stay in your browser.

Few works out what each tab is on your device. There’s no account to make your tabs useful to us, because we never see them.

Nothing readFew reads no page content and injects nothing into the sites you visit.

Nothing sentNone of your tabs leave the browser. Besides checking your plan, the only thing ever sent is a sentence you type to draft rules, when you press Generate.

Why I built it

“I had 65 tabs open and was afraid to close any of them.”

One evening I counted 65 open tabs, after Chrome had frozen for the second time that day. A GitHub repo, product notes, a Reddit thread, a ChatGPT chat I meant to come back to. Closing a tab felt like deciding I was done with it, and I rarely was.

Every tab manager I tried asked me to organise: save a session, build a workspace, drag tabs into a list. I wanted something that just did it, and that I could trust. So WithFew is built around one rule: nothing disappears without a warning you can undo. And because sorting tabs means knowing what they are, it works that out on your device. Nothing about your tabs leaves your browser.

Questions

What happens when Few thinks I’m done with a tab?

It moves to Bin first, a collapsed group in your tab strip, and stays there for as long as you choose. Open it and stay a moment, and it comes back out.

Will Few close something important?

Pinned tabs, the tab you’re on and any site you protect are never touched, and groups you made yourself are left alone unless you hand them over. Anything Few does comes with Undo.

Do I have to set anything up?

No. Few starts working the minute it’s installed. The editor is there if you want different timings, or you can describe how you work in a sentence.

Is this an AI assistant?

No. Few sorts tabs, on your device, and nothing about your tabs leaves your browser. The only thing it ever sends is a sentence you type to draft a rule, when you ask it to.

Who is Few?

The small fox at the bottom of the popup. It shows what WithFew is doing, and you can pick its colour or turn it off.

Is there a free plan?

There is a 7-day free trial, and then it is $5 a month, or $19 a year. When a trial or subscription ends Few stops working, but nothing in Bin is lost and no tab is closed.
