Default cleanup: unused tabs out of the way, then closed after 5 days
What Few does out of the box.
The steps: Unused for 3 hours → Move to Bin → In Bin for 5 days → Close.
Who it's for
- Most people.
- Anyone who keeps tabs open "just in case".
What happens
- A tab you have not used for 3 hours moves into Bin, a collapsed tab group, and is unloaded so it stops using memory.
- Open it and stay on it for a moment, and it comes back out.
- After 5 days in Bin it closes, with Undo.
Always
- The tab you are on is never moved or closed.
- Pinned tabs and sites you protect are never touched.
- Tabs in groups you made yourself and tabs playing sound stay where they are.
Good to know
- Search pages leave Bin sooner and work in progress stays longer: Few decides what each tab is on your device.
How to use it
- Download Default cleanup: a small workflow file.
- Open Few's editor (click Few in Chrome's toolbar, then Rules), choose Import and pick the file.
- Save. The steps replace your current workflow; your protected sites and grouping stay as they are. Every step can be changed afterwards.
