Gentle cleanup: tidy Chrome tabs without losing any in a hurry

The steps: Unused for a day → Move to Bin → In Bin for 2 weeks → Close.

Who it's for

• People who come back to tabs days later.

What happens

1. A tab you have not used for a day moves into Bin, collapsed and unloaded.
2. It stays there for two weeks, one click away.
3. Then it closes, with Undo.

Always

• The tab you are on is never moved or closed.
• Pinned tabs and sites you protect are never touched.
• Tabs in groups you made yourself and tabs playing sound stay where they are.

Good to know

• Your tab strip stays busier than with the default: this trades tidiness for time.

How to use it

1. Download Gentle cleanup: a small workflow file.
2. Open Few's editor (click Few in Chrome's toolbar, then Rules), choose Import and pick the file.
3. Save. The steps replace your current workflow; your protected sites and grouping stay as they are. Every step can be changed afterwards.
